The Great Wonderfest has invited Girlguiding to partner with them for ‘Scoutfest’ to create the best Scouts and Guides camp ever, where Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from all over the UK join together.

‘Scoutfest’ will have a dedicated campsite at The Great Wonderfest, based at Duxmore Farm offering a safe environment for camping, rambling and other exciting outdoor activities.

Join in the footsteps of other famous Scouts and Guides like adventurers Bear Grylls and Anna McNuff and even TV favourites David Walliams and Warwick Davis were once part of the Scouting family!

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from all over the UK can go free to the event all go free when one adult ticket is purchased.

Scoutfest coordinator Malcolm Cox (MaC) said:

“Every Scout has 40 million friends throughout the world. If we add the Girl Guides too we’ve got 50 million friends globally – that includes 3,000 on the Isle of Wight and over 1 million in the UK!

“We’re working on a range of amazing activities which we’ll be telling you about soon, so watch this space! We’ll also be announcing an amazing competition where one lucky Beaver, Cub, Scout, Rainbow Brownie or Guide can win family tickets for themselves and their friends!”

Dick, from festival hosts Dick and Dom, added:

“It’ll be great to have the Scouts and Guides family at the Great Wonderfest. I used to be a Cub and a Scout so I know how important it can be to learn about the great outdoors. Not only can they develop their Scouting skills, but they can also party at The Great Wonderfest – festival badges all round!”
