A charity motorbike event in aid of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance returns later this month (July).

The 40-mile motorcycle ride around the Isle of Wight will start and finish at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Havenstreet, on 21 July.

Keen biker and organiser, Pete Edwards said:

“As bikers, we all know someone, or have heard of someone, who has required the attention of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Critical Care Teams.

“Living on the Isle of Wight, you begin to realise what a crucial service HIOWAA provide. It costs £15,000 a day to keep the Charity operational, and is funded purely by public donations. That is why events such as Ride4Life are crucial to keep this life-saving service running.”

Entry is £10 per rider, plus £5 per pillion, with all proceeds going towards HIOWAA.
