It’s been a memorable second day at the Island Games – with Team Isle of Wight winning FIVE gold medals.

It means they’ve already reached the gold medal total of two years ago in Gotland.

Gold medallists included 3000-metre steeplechase runner, Dan Eckersley and James Forman who was victorious in the 400m hurdles.

He’s done it again! Daniel Eckersley wins gold in the 3000m steeplechase – just as he did in 2017.Unbelievable day for Team Isle of Wight.
