Matt Reed and Perron Phipps have won their second gold of the games, this time in the team 10m air pistol.
This morning (Tuesday), 13-year-old Amelie Haworth – the Isle of Wight’s youngest competitor – took home bronze in the squash event.
Speaking to Isle of Wight Radio she said:
“I tried not to think too much about it but I really didn’t want to come fourth.
“After losing the semi-final the best I could hope for was a bronze and that’s what I was going for!”
It was a familiar story for Imogen Moss too. She won her fourth medal of the competition, claiming a bronze in the 25m standard pistol event.
Bridget Fryer is among those performing tonight. She will compete in the shotput finals.
Team Isle of Wight will also take part in the men’s time trial cycling event this evening.
