The Isle of Wight has won more medals at the Island Games in Gibraltar – as the event enters its final day.

Yesterday (Thursday), there was silver for Perron Phipps in air pistol shooting and silver for Abi Lacey in 100m individual medley.

There were bronze medals for Megan King in the 50m backstroke, Bridget Fryer in discus and also bronze in the 4x100m medley relay for Megan King, Lottie James, Abi Lacey, Jess Browne.

Today, the men and womens relay races and half marathons get underway – with Laura Brackley and Paul Cooke competing.

Meanwhile, Harry McCLuckie will run the 15,000 metres.

Team Isle of Wight will also battle it out in the shooting range – with clay pigeon and rifle shooting all taking place later.
