The Isle of Wight’s first Board Game Cafe is set to open its doors next month (August).
The new cafe – which will have almost 200 board games in its library – will open in the Nodehill area of Newport.
On Facebook, Board IOW, said:
“We’ve got nearly 200 games in our library, covering every age range, ability and experience level.
“Our online booking system will be going live on Tuesday July 16 so you can reserve your table for three hours of gaming for just £4 per person.
“We’re going to be running an exclusive, first come first served preview evening on Friday August 9, where you can enjoy a two-hour games session, with complimentary snacks and bubbly for the special opening price of £2 a head. Spaces are strictly limited and will be available from Wednesday July 17.
“Doors will officially open at 11am Saturday August 10th, make sure you book as we think we’re going to be busy!
