Ride4life returns to the Isle of Wight which will raise funds for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) is calling upon bikers to sign up to this year’s Ride4Life, a 45 mile ride out, starting and finishing at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, on Sunday (21 July).

Organised by biker and long term supporter of HIOWAA, Pete Edwards expects the ride out will take approximately one hour and all funds raised will help to save another life.

Pete said:

“Ride4Life promises to be a great day out for bikers and their families, as well as an opportunity for us to raise awareness for this life-saving service.” commented Pete. “Within the biking community, we all know someone, or have heard of someone, who has required the urgent response and specialist skills of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Critical Care Teams.”

Online registration for the event is now open here.

Entry is £10 per person, plus £5 per pillion passenger.

In advance of the ride out, this week the Charity has launched their community fundraising
campaign; ‘I Ride for HIOWAA’. The campaign encourages bikers across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to come together as a community to raise awareness and vital funds for the Air Ambulance.
