A radio call for help has led to the launching of Cowes RNLI lifeboat this afternoon (18 July) at around 2.30 pm.
The emergency was discovered in the Royal Yacht Squadron Haven and involved a male crew member who had suffered a broken arm.
At the time of the injury the yacht was taking part in a RYS race.
