Yesterday a host of musicians, some of who played at the 1969 Isle of Wight Festival in Wootton, gathered for a party with an historic twist.
They were helping celebrate the 50th anniversary of an event that famously saw Bob Dylan turn down Woodstock to travel to the Isle of Wight.
Throughout the day, performances were dedicated to the folk legend and a poem written by him was read out to the crowd.
Richard Thompson and Julie Felix, and an all-star tribute band called Dylan-Centric, former Fairport Convention member Ashley Hutchings and rising stars Emma Swift and Blair Dunlop were among those on stage.
Organisers say they now plan to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1970 gig, which saw hundreds of thousands of people gather at Afton Down. Back then, performances included The Doors, The Who, Joni Mitchell and Miles Davis.
