An Isle of Wight man wants to stop people convicted of sexual abuse from travelling abroad.

Darren Street is behind an online petition calling for the new measure. He was abused when he was aged just 11 years old.

His abuser was subsequently jailed, but Darren says he is still serving “a lifetime sentence”, as he deals with the impact it had on him.

He says he wants to stop people convicted in the UK being allowed to target countries where children have less protection.

He needs 10,000 signatures if the matter is to get a response from the Government.
