More than sixty Islanders joined a march through London yesterday (Saturday) as MPs debated Brexit, ahead of the 31 October deadline.

Calling for a People’s Vote, they gathered outside parliament to hear from speakers including broadcaster Sandi Toksvig and former Conservative minister Michael Heseltine.

MPs will be asked to vote on Boris Johnson’s deal on Tuesday, after an amendment was instead passed on Saturday. Isle of Wight MP Bob Seely says he backs the plan put forward by the PM.
