An exhibition will be held in Niton tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday), where a plan to build houses on Ladyacre Farm will revealed.
The 5.2 acre site off Pan Lane could be earmarked for more than twenty houses and is currently “under offer”.
More than 100 properties were historically suggested for the farmland but, according to property agent Gully Howard, that number has been significantly reduced down.
Adjacent to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Isle of Wight Council paperwork has described the area as one that could be adversely impacted by any development. According to the Isle of Wight Council’s Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment of November 2018, the site was considered “not currently developable”.
The exhibition will be at Niton Village Hall, between 4pm and 7pm.
