A Shanklin based bakery’s cakes have been selected by an internationally renowned magazine as an alternative advent calendar this Christmas.
Grazia Magazine has asked family-run Frostbite Bakery to invent, create and bake for a Gourmet Calendar- which will soon be boxed up and shipped all over the country.

Louise and Ellie Brown- the mum and daughter duo have already had an order from Belgium for a vegan variation- the pair also do a gluten-free option.
The freshly baked Calendar includes (large) slices of brownies, blondies, flapjacks and tiffins which can be shared between two people.

Ellie told Isle of Wight Radio,
“There is something for everyone even if you can’t have dairy….If you don’t know what to get someone for Christmas why not start the gift early and give it to them as their advent calendar?”
“We have about 20 or 30 orders already which is really cool -but to be put up alongside places like Fortnum & Mason is crazy and a bit mind-blowing… a real pinch-me moment”.
