It’s nearly the last call for donations for Isle of Wight Radio’s Toy Appeal – which ends next week.

Isle of Wight Radio has 1,044 toys that have currently been donated- the last chance to drop off donations is Wednesday 10am.

Young carers, children in hospital, families challenged by poverty and youngsters in care are among those who have benefited from the appeal.

Deborah Rooke organises the appeal, she said,

“We need to get over a thousand toys between now and Wednesday- either through donations or people bringing in toys- there are so many places across the Island they can do it- but to be honest whatever we can get would be amazing”.
