The Isle of Wight has been capturing the first full moon of 2020 in all its glory – when it appeared on Friday (10).

As previously reported, we were also blessed with a penumbral lunar eclipse –  where the Earth’s main shadow does not cover the Moon.

Scroll through the photos to see if yours features.

The next new moon will be next Friday (24) at 9.42pm.

The next super full moon takes place on March (9).
