Exciting plans have been revealed to expand the Island’s Wight Wave Beach Fest this summer.

The event – which launched last year – is happening at Ryde’s Appley Beach on July 23-26.

This year’s festival on the sand is set to feature:

Beach soccer, beach rugby, beach volleyball, beach footvolley, beach tennis, beach run and a stage with live music, a bar, bbq and entertainment. There will also be beach lifesaving championships.

Event organiser, Luke Kerr, said:

“This year, we want to build on the success of 2019 and add even more sports that are available.

“We’d also love local businesses to get involved this year. Anyone who is interested can email [email protected]
