Booking Prince to play the Isle of Wight Festival, the chances of U2 ever performing on the Island, rushing across Russia for David Bowie, and the excitement ahead of this year’s event.
Isle of Wight Festival organiser John Giddings has been chatting exclusively to Isle of Wight Radio.
He says ticket sales are up by 10,000 compared to this time last year – and has revealed how “very happy” he is to have secured the likes of Duran Duran and Lionel Ritchie, amongst others.

Speaking to Topping in the Morning, John also revealed who he would like to see perform here in the future.
He also discussed whether legendary band U2 could make an appearance.
