Islanders are being warned to “remain prepared for flooding” over the next 24 hours.
A flood alert is still in place for the Eastern Yar, and tributaries from Whitwell to Bembridge.
The Environment Agency says water levels remain high at the Eastern Yar but are falling at Alverstone and Sandown.
It says forecast rainfall totals have increased though, with up to 30mm expected.
According to the Environment Agency, pumps used to protect property could be required to operate.
