The search for an Isle of Wight man, missing in Spain, has been extended nationwide.
Spanish law enforcement the Guardia Civil has revealed that the search for Harry Stagg has ‘widened’ to the whole of the country.
According to British newspaper The Olive Press, the force is urging the East Cowes man to make himself known to authorities.
As previously reported by Isle of Wight Radio, the 23-year-old travelled to Malaga to spend Christmas and New Year with his Grandfather – but never showed up.
Harry’s mum, Susan Stagg, 50, told the Olive Press that she is “very worried”:
“I’ll be 51 next week, so it would be nice if he could ring me on my birthday.
“There is a possibility that Harry doesn’t have a clue that people are worried.”
Harry has a 19-year-old brother Eddy and a sister, Peggie, 17, and was reportedly last in contact with his mother on 29 November.
According to the paper, there have been two reported sightings of Harry by British expats in Andalucia this week.
Harry is described as pale, 6ft 2ins, with dark brown ‘shaggy’ hair and dark brown/green eyes.
