After a successful two years of fundraising, the Isle of Wight’s Breast Cancer Now support team is hoping to raise even more money for the cause.

The charity is looking for someone to have their head shaved to raise much-needed funds for the cause.

The charity has raised just over £11,000 which goes towards helping and supporting Islanders battling breast cancer.

Sarah Tyrrell-Jones is a Breast Cancer Now Community Fundraiser for the Island:

“We have a lot of exciting fundraising events happening this year and I really hope people will be able to support us.

“We desperately need someone to have their head-shaved and raise some money. I had mine done and it was amazing.

“Through the year we are also doing Raffles, cake sales, fancy dress days, Wear it Pink Day – we want to do them all again this year.

“Also, a team of us form the Island will be abseiling down Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower on Saturday, July 11. It’s 100m down and we want to raise as much as we can!

“Also, every September we do a charity head shave – so if anyone can help us and have their head shaved it would be amazing!”
