The Isle of Wight is being warned to expect icy conditions tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Met Office says a yellow warning will be in place from midnight until 10am tomorrow.

The Met Office says:

“A mix of rain and hail showers, with some snow over higher ground, is likely to leave surfaces wet overnight.

“Surface temperatures are then expected to fall below freezing with icy stretches forming in places.”

Meanwhile, the IW Met Service says some wintry showers are expected to hit the Island later and overnight.
