Appeal To Identify Victim Of Assault In Ryde Pub - 29 Year-Old Man Arrested

Officers are trying to trace a woman who they believe was the victim of an assault that occurred in The Veteran Pub on Ryde Esplanade on the evening of Saturday, April 26.

Police were alerted to the incident by a member of staff within the pub who saw a man grab the woman over her clothes.

Officers deployed to the incident but when they arrived, the woman had left the pub.

A 29-year-old man from Lake has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and has been released under investigation.
