Biker Seriously Injured Following Watery Lane Junction Crash

A crash involving a car and bike has seen emergency services called to the outskirts of Sandown this afternoon (Thursday).

Ambulance and police teams were called at 2.25pm following a collision involving a car and motorbike near the Bathingbourne Lane/Watery Lane junction.

The motorcyclist is reported to have suffered a serious leg injury.

Road closures are in place while emergency services manage the incident.

A member of the public was reportedly directing traffic for a time, with delays likely.
