This past week, the staff and residents at Orchard House embraced the joy and creativity of Spirit Week, a celebration filled with themed activities and events designed to spread happiness and community spirit.

From wearing green for luck on Monday  to rainbow-colored outfits on Wednesday, every day brought excitement and smiles to the care home.

But the highlight of the week was undoubtedly Red Nose Day, where dedicated staff dressed up in colourful and whimsical costumes to bring joy to the residents.

The team went above and beyond, crafting delicious treats and even creating a heart-warming video that captured the fun and laughter from the day.

The residents were delighted by the energy and enthusiasm, and the event brought the entire community together in celebration.

“Our goal has always been to bring happiness to our residents’ lives, and this week has been a shining example of what can happen when a community comes together,” said Katie Schlepp , Head of Lifestyle of Orchard House.
“Red Nose Day reminded us all of the importance of laughter and connection.
”Orchard House would like to thank everyone who participated and contributed to making Spirit Week such a memorable event.
"We are proud to continue hosting events that bring smiles and joy to our residents and staff."
