Man, 34, Arrested Following Ryde Exposure And Multiple Assaults

A man in his 30s has been arrested following an incident in Ryde last night (Wednesday).

Police were called at 6.40pm to reports of a man behaving aggressively towards members of the public and assaulting two people in Ryde town centre.

It was reported that the man also exposed himself.

Police attended and arrested a man on Union Street on suspicion of assault by beating, exposure, assault by beating of an emergency worker, and a racially aggravated public order offence.

The 34-year-old remains in custody at this time.
