The Isle of Wight's Phoenix Choir will perform its penultimate concert this coming weekend.
The event, which takes place on Saturday (April 12) at Newport Minster, will set in motion a lap of honour for the group after more than 16 years of Island-wide performances.
The concert this weekend, which is in aid of Wight Cardiac Rehab, commences at 7.30pm with free admission and a retiring collection.
The choir will be ‘retiring’ after a special farewell concert planned for July.
Musical Director, Robin Burnett, said:
“We would like to thank all those who have supported us over the last 16 years, and contributed to the many local charities and good causes which has enable us to raise more than £70,000.
"Full details of our final performance will be publicised in the next few weeks.”
