Community groups will present their ideas at an open meeting at Ryde Academy from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday July 2.

Residents attending the event will vote directly on which projects to fund.

The event is open to all residents of Ryde who will be able to vote and make a direct difference to improving their community.

Acting Sergeant, Jason Taylor, of Ryde Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:

“This is a great opportunity for the Ryde Community to have a voice. This is an event where your vote can actually make a difference.

"Get registered to come along to Ryde Academy this Saturday at 1pm and vote for 15 amazing projects that we have received applications from."

Ryde residents can decide which projects they would like to see funded, and where this £20,000 of public budgets should be spent. Registrations can be made online.
