Isle of Wight A-Level student and didn't get the results you were hoping for today (Tuesday)?
Not to worry. Isle of Wight Radio has put together helpful information on what to do next.
If you need advice about your next options you can speak to your school’s careers advisor or contact Island Futures – the council’s career advice service for young people.
This can be done via email at [email protected] or you can call (01983) 823888.
Island Futures will also be operating an A level phone line, between 9am and 5pm, today.
You can also visit the Island Futures website which has information and advice for an extensive range of careers.
Students who may be feeling uncertain, anxious or stressed about the future as they move on to university, employment or other training can also seek support from Young Minds, who will help to encourage them to look after their mental health and identify when to ask for help.
Additional mental health and wellbeing resources for young people, including local support services and free message services, can be found on the website.
After a challenging couple of years due to the pandemic, Isle of Wight A-Level students have been praised for their "resilience and strength".
Hundreds of pupils have been collecting their results this morning (Tuesday).
