Children and staff in Year 6 at Summerfields Primary School are self-isolating after cases of coronavirus were confirmed.
The school, based on Atkinson Drive, has said that two people in the school community have tested positive for COVID-19.
As a result, 30 children and four staff members are self-isolating.
An Isle of Wight Council spokesperson said:
“Two members of the Summerfields Primary School community have tested positive for Covid-19.
"Families and staff have all been informed.
"After seeking public health advice a Year 5 bubble of 30 children and four adults now need to remain at home and self-isolate as a precautionary measure."
