A plane is said to have crash landed at Sandown Airport, prompting a call-out for emergency services.
A twin engine craft was unable to lower its landing gear as it came in to land, Isle of Wight Radio has been told.
Firefighters from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance.
Two appliances have been called, alongside police.
The plane landed on the grass, to the side of the runway, Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed.
No one is thought to be seriously hurt.
