Emergency Services Called To Cowes Crash

Emergency services have been called to a crash in Cowes this afternoon (Thursday).

Firefighters, paramedics, and police have been at Airfield Way, at its junction with Three Gates Road.

The collision is said to have happened near Aldi.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service says it was called at 11.20am, following reports of fuel on the road.

Firefighters have left the scene.

There are delays in the area.

*The road has since reopened. 

Police say the crash involved a car and a motorbike. 

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:

"We were called at 11.15am today (17 June) to Three Gates Road, Northwood, following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike, blocking the road.

"The motorcyclist was reported as having minor injuries."
