Reports of a missing three-year-old near Sandown pier prompted a multi-agency response from police and Coastguard teams this afternoon (Sunday).
A large police response was initiated by Hampshire Constabulary, and Bembridge and Ventnor Coastguard teams were also immobilied to the scene alongside the Coastguard helicopter.
The child was found safe and well.
