A Sandown man has been arrested following reports of threats being made towards a member of the public.
Hampshire Constabulary says it was called to the Broadway shortly before 5pm yesterday (Wednesday).
A 29-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of common assault, and a breach of a criminal behaviour order.
He has been released from custody and remains under investigation while enquiries continue.
