Thousands of pounds has been raised for the family of a "devoted" Isle of Wight husband and father, who tragically died during a fishing trip last week.
A fundraiser has been set up for Islander, Steve Kitcher's family.
He passed away suddenly last Thursday (1), while fishing on his local syndicate lake, in Blackwater.
It's suspected he succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning while in his bivvy tent.
He leaves behind his wife Michelle, and his three children Charlie, Harry and Daisy.
Two Go Fund Me pages have set up to help Steve's family. So far, more than £8,000 has been raised.
One of the fundraising pages read:
"Michelle would like to thank everyone for the lovely messages of support and says that Steve would be completely overwhelmed by the amount of love everyone has shown and is continuing to give.
"Thank you very much to Nicky Leesq for suggesting this fundraiser and to everyone who wishes to donate.
"Thank you to the carping community and to everyone that knew and loved Steve through his many (many !) hobbies and interests."
