Win A Bottle Of Heering Cherry Liqueur
Simple cocktails are perfect for lazy summer evenings and Heering Cherry Liqueur is a wonderful seasonal ingredient for simple and splendid concoctions...
Heering Cherry one of the oldest drinks around and no wonder, as this classic is a keeper for very good reason! It’s made in Denmark and has been since 1818.
It was the world’s first cherry liqueur and, more than 200 years since this liqueur first graced the world’s glasses, it remains the most awarded cherry liqueur.
It is crafted with succulent Scandinavian cherries and natural botanicals so it’s a drink very much for now, defying the fleeting trends that come and go.
A truly iconic star in the firmament of fine spirits, this luscious liquid is the backbone of the classic cocktail, the Singapore Sling, where it plays a starring role. However, it’s also great in simple drinks, with just one other ingredient added.
Try serving a Heering Mule, which consists of Heering and Ginger Beer; or Heering and Tonic.
Move to three ingredients and you have a Heering Spritz, with chilled Prosecco - a brilliant drink for a glamorous summer celebration - or the simple and refreshing Heering Cola. Here’s how…
Ingredients
40ml Heering Cherry Liqueur
20ml Bourbon
Cola
Method
Mix the first two ingredients in a chilled rocks glass with plenty of ice and top with good quality cola. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if you wish. Garnish with a lemon slice and either a maraschino cherry or a fresh cherry.
We've now teamed up with Heering Cherry Liqueur to give three lucky members the chance to win a bottle of this delicious and versatile drink. To be in with a chance to win, just answer the question below correctly before the closing date on Friday September 1 - best of luck!
