Paul Cattermole: S Club 7 Star Jo O'Meara Thanks Fans For 'Love And Kindness' After Death Of Bandmate

S Club 7 star Jo O'Meara has thanked the public for their "love and kindness" following the death of bandmate Paul Cattermole last week.

Cattermole was found dead at the age of 46 last Thursday at his home in Dorset.

The band encouraged fans to donate to the National Youth Music Theatre, which Cattermole used to be a part of.

O'Meara took to Instagram thanking people from the "bottom of my heart".

"I just wanted to reach out and Thank everybody from the bottom of my heart for the love and kindness you have shown over the tragic passing of our sweetest soul Paul," she wrote.

"This has been utterly devastating, and I am totally shocked and heartbroken. We have lost someone so incredibly special to us all, and there is a huge sense of sadness that will never go.

"Paul will forever be a huge part of our lives, and I will forever treasure the memories we made ! I will love you always Paul, God bless you my darling. Rest in forever Peace. Love JoJo."

She is the first member of the band to post a separate tribute to Cattermole.

His unexpected death came just weeks after the group announced it was going on a major reunion tour.

Cattermole was described as a "beacon of light for a generation of pop music fans" by the band's manager Simon Fuller.
