A couple from Sussex will feature in Channel 4's A New Life In The Sun next week (Jan 24th-26th) as they renovate their new home in Grenada in Spain.
Lindsay and Craig swapped their home in Sussex for a three bedroom house in Spain costing 70,000 Euros, located half an hour away from Grenada and located in the middle of a national park.
They're renovating the house in order to convert it into a rental property that they can invite guests to during the summer, when they plan to go traveling.
Professional carpenter, Craig is doing most of the work himself, with "helpful" suggestions from Lindsay who has many ideas about what she'd like done.
Lindsay says the "enormity" of the project can often seem "overwhelming".
Having already finished the kitchen and loo, Craig is tasked with dealing with the water supply, which has been deemed undrinkable.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 said:
"This series of A New Life in the Sun follows a new wave of brave expats as they say goodbye to the UK and begin the long journey of setting up businesses in the sun.

"The show is a great window into their new lives and the positives and negatives that come with it.
"The eventful seventh series follows the expats as they launch anything from Rock and Roll themed B&Bs and Alpaca farms to breweries and E-bike rentals across France, Spain, Italy and Portugal."
The show airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 4pm.
