Strong winds have put a stop to the Isle of Wight Zoo's Christmas Market.
It was due to be held at the Sandown site today (Saturday), but bad weather has led to the "total destruction" of the stalls.
Despite the cancellation of the market, the zoo is open as normal.
Stalls will be reinstalled and any tickets purchased for today's market will be honoured tomorrow (Sunday).
Lawrence Bates, from the zoo, said:
"It’s not often I admit defeat but today, nature won! The Wildheart team and the local community have worked SO hard to roll out this event which we hoped would add some much needed cheer before Christmas as well as helping to fund our animals through the wintery days to come. We are so sorry to have to cancel today’s market but hope to see you tomorrow instead."
Santa’s grotto, which is located in the old fort, will remain open.
