An Isle of Wight charity's urging Islanders to get involved in a fun-filled family day of excitement.
Age UK Isle of Wight wants you to get covered in every colour of the rainbow as you run (or walk!) your way around the obstacle course.
Running alongside The Powder Run will also be dogs shows, funfair games, bouncy castle, bake sale, bbq, bar, stalls and much more.
The fun day is free entry, free parking and offers fun for the whole family!
Elisha Leachman, Age UKIW’s Fundraising Manager, said:
“We are so excited for this year’s Powder Run! Our colour course is going to be brighter than ever, we offer traditional old school obstacles inclusive for all ages and abilities, and we hope you will join us in running (or walking!) through our rainbow of powder whilst helping to raise some much-needed funds your local charity.
"Every penny we raise stays on the Island, and will help Age UK Isle of Wight to support our older Island residents.”
The Powder Run is kindly sponsored by NFU Mutual Isle of Wight, Red Squirrel Property Ltd, Biscoes Solicitors, and Red Funnel Ferries.
It is all happening at Porchfield Cricket Club tomorrow (Saturday).
It starts at 2pm.
Entry to The Powder Run is £10 for Adults, £5 for Children (13 or under) and small additional sponsorship is welcomed. Participants have the flexibility to work their way around in their own groups and every pre-registered participant gets a rainbow pack and a medal of completion.
