Police area appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a car almost collided with a pedestrian in Newport.
Between 4.20pm and 4.30pm on Monday 12 August, a silver Mercedes mounted the pavement on the road junction from Staplers Road onto Coppins Bridge roundabout.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
"Were you travelling through this location on this date and around this time? Did you witness the incident at all, or perhaps capture it on Dash Cam?
"We are not asking for information to identify the vehicle driver, we are simply keen to identify any key witnesses.
"We appreciate that a few weeks have passed since this incident, however someone may recall witnessing this and be able to provide us with crucial information."
