Empty bottles, disposable barbecues and discarded food packaging have all been left scattered over Appley Beach in Ryde.
Walkers this morning (Friday) have expressed their dismay and anger at the sight of the rubbish on the beach.
In a video sent to Isle of Wight Radio, glass bottles, cardboard, food packaging and other items can be seen left on the beach and revetment.'
People descended to beaches yesterday as the Island bathed in glorious sunshine.
One person who walked along Appley this morning, said to Isle of Wight Radio:
"What is wrong with people? They should be ashamed!
"Why do people think it is fine to leave rubbish everywhere? This is our Island - and we should be looking after it!
"I'm embarrassed by the actions of people! Shame on you!"
