A seal in Sandown attracted lots of attention last night (Sunday) - resulting in a stay away warning from Bembridge Coastguard.
The warning comes just a week after a seal was spotted playfully making a splash in Sandown, as previously reported by Isle of Wight Radio.
Island man, Darren Gough, was enjoying a stroll when he spotted the seal in the shallow water.
The mammal could be seen splashing around, allowing the opportunity to be caught on camera.
Now, a week later Islanders were said to be putting themselves at risk 'trying to get a photo'.
Bembridge Coastguard says the animals 'can bite' and we're advised to 'leave them well alone'.
