Police cordons have been erected following the discovery of a body in a park in Ventnor this morning (Wednesday).
Multiple police units responded to the park off Park Avenue after reports of a body being discovered by a member of the public.
Isle of Wight Radio has approached Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary for a statement.
Update: An Isle of Wight Police spokesperson said:
"Police were called at 5.33am this morning (Wednesday, 26 June) after the body of a man was found in Ventnor Park, Park Avenue.
"His family have been informed.
"The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
