A suspected bomb has been found on a beach in Shanklin today (Sunday).
Police were called just after 10am after a suspected piece of unexploded ordnance was located on Shanklin beach.
Officers attended and a cordon was put into place as a safety precaution.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team (EOD) were called and made the area safe.
