A broken down lorry is causing lengthy tailbacks in Newport as rush hour hits.
A vehicle has come to a halt near the slip road to Fairlee Road, heading towards Ryde.
It is causing queues along the Dual Carriageway (Medina Way).
Traffic along Riverway.
The alternative route along Riverway estate is also backed up.
Traffic is stretching back as far as Newport Road/Cowes Road, coming from Cowes.
Isle of Wight police are advising drivers leave extra time for their journeys this evening (Wednesday).
