The first Business Boost programmes held on the Island in May have been deemed an unmitigated success by the organisers.
Earlier this year, the University of Portsmouth joined forces with the Isle of Wight Council and Brightbulb Design to launch the meetings.
Funded by HM Government and the European Regional Development Fund, the free programme was created to help businesses gain real-world knowledge, with the intention of delivering an action plan for future growth.
This week saw The University of Portsmouth announce its first graduates from its inaugural events.
The businesses that have taken part have lavished praise upon the intimate nature of the course, where lecturers offered targeted advice aimed at future growth.
Sally Chaucer, managing director of The Water Mill at Calbourne, said:
"The Business Boost courses were perfect for (us). It was face-to-face learning that was clear and helpful, with professional guidance and support throughout."
Due to the success of the first two gatherings, The University of Portsmouth has announced a set of additional subjects and start dates for businesses that would like to take part.
Upcoming dates and subjects are as follows:
General business growth advice: September 13
Building marketing capability: September 22
Place, branding and Tourism: October 25
People: November 3
