Blankets, scarves and chocolates are among the gifts an Isle of Wight community care company is seeking for Age UK Isle of Wight.
With less than a week before wrapping starts, Home Instead Isle of Wight is desperately asking for more donations from Islanders.
It is the third year of the company's Be a Santa to a Senior campaign, which aims to bring festive cheer to lonely and isolated seniors across the Island.
The organisation is asking for donations of presents such as:
- Blankets
- Scarves
- Slippers
- Gloves
- Hats
- Chocolates
- Biscuits
- Body wash/soaps
- Puzzles
- Crossword books etc
The company is asking gifts are NOT wrapped as each item needs to be checked, before they're delivered.
Second hand items or home made foods are also not accepted.
Current donation points include:
- Home Instead Cowes office in Prospect Business Centre
- Asda Newport
- Morrisons Newport
- Tesco Extra Ryde
- Age UK office Newport
