A car has crashed into a set of traffic lights on the main road to Carisbrooke.
Police are in attendance on Carisbrooke Road, near Castle Road.
Officers were called shortly before 2.40pm.
It's understood a car has gone into traffic lights near the Simeon Monument.
The road is currently blocked heading in the Carisbrooke direction.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are on scene.
