Two Isle of Wight Coastguard teams responded to reports of an injured person at Yaverland yesterday (Tuesday).
An alert was received by HM Coastguard after just before 6pm, with both Ventnor and Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Teams deployed to the scene alongside the RNLI lifeboat from Bembridge.
It's understood a casualty was recovered and passed to paramedics.
