Cash has been stolen from the Wight Trash shop in Ryde following a break-in.
It's understood around £150 has been stolen from the charity pot sometime overnight, with damage caused to the front door.
The shop is hoping to reopen later today (Thursday).
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
